ROLE OVERVIEW
We seek a talented Sales Executive to generate, close, & manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across Finsight’s CreditFlow product. You will do this by cold prospecting, leading product demonstrations, navigating the prospects buying process & negotiating pricing.
The Sales Executive will work closely internally with our product specialists, & externally, with our prospects & clients.
The position will report to the Head of Research and Market Data.
Responsibilities
- Prospect new business opportunities via cold calling, cold emailing, conferences &/or referral networks.
- Schedule web demonstrations, calls, or in-person meetings with prospects & clients.
- Attend & lead prospect & client pitches & meetings with the goal of communicating the features & value-proposition of Finsight’s products.
- Guide prospects through Finsight’s sales process with the goal of their firm commissioning the use of our platforms.
- Assist in client onboarding & ongoing product training.
- Manage current clients by scheduling in-person meetings, outings & providing relevant product updates with the goal of up-selling & cross-selling current clients.
- Contribute to new product development by providing real-time industry feedback & needs.
- Monitor inboxes & respond, in a very timely fashion, to client requests.
- Travel to & from client offices & conferences across their specific region.
- Ensure the longevity of client relationships & customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Minimum of 3-years of outbound business development experience, preferably in banking & buyside capital markets industry.
- Understanding & experience with the market data/procurement process at financial institutions.
- Contacts in the industry are extremely beneficial.
- Track record of successfully building a new & sustainable client base.
- Highly attentive to clients (including over the weekend as required).
- Highly self-motivated, organized & goal orientated.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent written & verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to see tasks & projects through to conclusion.
- Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
- Familiarity with ‘Google Workspace’ a plus.
- The ability to build & maintain strong & lasting client relationships.
- High Proficiency in written & spoken English (German/French a plus).
SHIFT AVAILABILITY
*Dependent on market hours
- 8AM to 5PM BST/GMT, Monday to Friday
