Robotic Systems Sales Manager – UK & Ireland
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial salesperson to lead business development for automated robotic systems, with a primary focus on welding and machine tool customers. This is a national role that offers the chance to drive significant growth in a fast-moving and innovation-driven market.
You will work remotely while managing key accounts across the UK & Ireland and contributing to the overall sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead national business development for automated robotic systems, targeting both new and existing customers.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and budgets, ensuring consistent engagement with key accounts and prospects.
- Build and nurture relationships with system integrators and OEMs, expanding the company’s reach and credibility in General Industry sectors.
- Negotiate specifications and pricing to maximize value for both the company and clients.
- Monitor client financial status and manage risks related to contracts and pricing.
- Champion quality customer experience, building lasting partnerships and delivering exceptional service.
- Support innovative marketing campaigns and represent the business at industry events and open houses.
Qualifications / Experience
- 5+ years of experience in selling complex systems or solutions, ideally in robotics or industrial automation.
- Proven track record of selling into welding and/or machine tool sectors, demonstrating understanding of these customer needs and processes.
- Experience in business development, sales strategy, or complex system sales to end users.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Autonomous, innovative, and focused on continuous improvement.
- Full UK driving licence and legal right to work in the UK.
