Mackinnon Bruce are partnered with a global leader in advanced scientific instrumentation to recruit a Product Sales Specialist to drive growth across their Electron Microscopy Sample Preparation portfolio.


Our client is at the forefront of scientific research innovation, microscopy and digital imaging solutions, supporting groundbreaking discoveries across life sciences, materials science, clinical environments and advanced manufacturing.

The Opportunity

You will take full ownership of a specialist product portfolio across the UK & Ireland, managing complex consultative sales cycles and developing long-term customer partnerships across academia, industry, pharma and clinical markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and market share for the EM Sample Preparation portfolio
  • Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through to negotiation and closure
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies, particularly within scientific research, industrial and materials science sectors
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers
  • Deliver technical consultation and support high-value capital investment decisions


What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Materials Science, Engineering, Business or similar
  • Experience selling technically complex scientific or analytical solutions
  • Knowledge of electron microscopy, sample preparation or materials characterisation technologies (highly desirable)
  • Proven success managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Willingness to travel ~50% across the territory
