Sales Executive – Capital Markets Technology
Are you a driven sales leader with deep expertise in Capital Markets technology?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Executive to drive growth across the UK and Ireland, working with leading financial institutions and delivering innovative Cloud and SaaS technology solutions in the capital markets sector.
This role offers the opportunity to engage with senior decision-makers, lead high-value engagements, and influence strategic technology adoption across the financial services industry.
The Role:
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating, managing, and closing high-value deals for capital markets technology platforms, with a specific focus on Securities Services and Corporate Actions.
You will build strong relationships with Asset Managers, Broker-Dealers, Custodians, and Wealth Management firms across the UK and Ireland while developing multi-million-dollar sales pipelines and driving adoption of cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities valued at $50M+ across UK and Irish financial institutions.
- Achieve a minimum of three successful deal closures per year.
- Establish and grow executive-level relationships (CXO, EVP, SVP) within leading financial institutions.
- Lead the positioning, negotiation, and closure of Cloud and SaaS platform deals.
- Act as a regional evangelist for the platform and its value within the capital markets ecosystem.
Your Background:
- Extensive experience managing complex enterprise sales pursuits in the Capital Markets sector.
- Strong knowledge of Securities Processing technology, gained through sales, consulting, or product delivery roles.
- Established executive-level relationships within target financial institutions.
- Experience delivering large, multi-stakeholder initiatives across global teams.
- Ability to build senior relationships across organisations, from CIO/COO level to operational leadership.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable operating in complex, fast-paced environments.
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience working with vendors such as Finastra, S&P Global, ICE, or Broadridge.
- Strong understanding of US Capital Markets functional domains.
- Experience working with large cross-functional global teams.
