Business Development Manager - Industrial Lubricants | East Midlands & South East
A leading British manufacturer of industrial lubricants (75+ years established) is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the East Midlands and South East England.
This is a field-based, consultative sales role focused on generating demand within manufacturing and heavy industry, particularly environments where equipment operates under extreme conditions such as glass, petrochemical and marine sectors. You'll conduct site surveys, identify lubrication challenges and deliver tailored solutions that improve reliability and performance.
You'll also work closely with an established distribution network including major MRO partners while building relationships directly with end-user manufacturing sites. As the role develops, there will be the opportunity to expand into international sales, with around one week of overseas travel per quarter.

£50k-£55k basic + uncapped commission (£7k+ year 1)
£500/month car allowance + mileage

Technical field sales experience, selling to industrial / manufacturing markets, ideally MRO related
Able to spend some time away from home travelling internationally
Consultative / problem solving approach to selling
Must be well presented, professional and ambitious to grow your career
