Commercial Account Executive (Insurance)
Location - Leeds
Salary up to £70,000 + Commission + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits
An established national insurance broker is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join its thriving Leeds office. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven insurance professional who enjoys building strong client relationships and developing business within a supportive, high-performing environment.
The Opportunity
You will inherit a well-established book of commercial clients across a wide range of industries and insurance classes, giving you a strong platform from day one. Alongside managing and growing this portfolio, you’ll also have the opportunity to generate new business and further develop your presence in the regional market.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial insurance clients across multiple sectors and classes of business
- Build long-term relationships with clients, understanding their risks and providing tailored insurance solutions
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and grow existing accounts
- Generate new business through networking, referrals and market activity
- Work closely with internal broking and account handling teams to deliver excellent service
- Maintain strong relationships with insurers and the wider market
About You
- Proven experience as a Commercial Account Executive or Development Executive within insurance broking
- Strong knowledge of general commercial insurance products
- A natural relationship builder with strong client-facing skills
- Motivated to grow a portfolio and develop long-term client partnerships
- Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing national brokerage
