Overview

An international reinsurance broker are looking to hire an Energy & Property Broker to join its London team. Our client have offices across Africa, India and the UK, with further expansion planned.

The Role

• Managing a book of Energy and Property facultative reinsurance business
• You will manage an existing portfolio of Property & Energy business placing complex and hazardous risks into the London market and working closely with clients, reinsurers and international offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Place Energy and Property facultative reinsurance risks into London and Lloyd’s markets
• Manage relationships with clients, markets and international offices
• Work on complex property risks including industrial and hazardous exposures
• Travel to support clients and develop relationships across territories

Experience Required

• Experienced Lloyds Broker - from an insurance or reinsurance background
• Exposure to Energy or Property risks (specialists in either considered)
• Underwriters with a broker mindset also considered
• No requirement to bring a book of business
