Job description
Sales Account Manager
Blue Apple Education | Home-based | UK | Occasional travel
Blue Apple Education is looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Account Manager to help grow and develop our existing client accounts across the education sector.
This is not a cold business development role. It is an account growth role focused on understanding each client relationship, identifying what they have purchased previously, when they last engaged with us, and where there are opportunities to introduce new services, renew existing ones, or upgrade the support we provide.
Using data and insight from Zoho CRM, you will work proactively with existing schools, Multi-Academy Trusts and education organisations to strengthen relationships, spot opportunities, and convert them into revenue.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, target-driven and hungry to succeed. You may be at an earlier stage in your sales career, but you must be confident, organised, ambitious and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who wants to build a high-performing sales career within a growing specialist business. Blue Apple Education has an established and proven model, ambitious growth plans, and significant future opportunity for the right person to develop their role, increase their earnings and grow with the business.
About the role
As Sales Account Manager, you will take ownership of developing existing accounts by reviewing historic orders, monitoring client activity, and building a clear pipeline of opportunities. You will use a consultative approach to help clients understand the value of our wider services and recommend the right next steps for their school or trust.
You will be expected to combine commercial focus with excellent relationship management, ensuring clients feel supported, understood and confident in working with Blue Apple Education.
Key responsibilities
• Manage and develop a portfolio of existing client accounts
• Use Zoho CRM to review account history, previous services, buying patterns and opportunities
• Re-engage clients based on past orders, timings, renewals and changing needs
• Identify and convert opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, renewals and service upgrades
• Build strong relationships with school and trust leaders, as well as operational contacts
• Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service throughout the sales process
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity and pipeline updates
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover and excellent client experience
• Meet and exceed agreed sales targets, activity metrics and revenue goals
What we are looking for
• A motivated and ambitious salesperson who wants to succeed
• Someone who enjoys working towards targets and is energised by commission and bonuses
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Excellent organisation and follow-through
• Confidence in using CRM systems and working with sales data
• A proactive mindset and the ability to spot opportunities within existing accounts
• A genuine commitment to delivering remarkable customer service
• A self-starter who works well independently in a home-based role
Experience
We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds. You do not need to come from the education sector, but you must be able to learn quickly, communicate professionally and understand client needs. Experience in account management, sales, customer success, consultative selling or service-based sales would be advantageous.
Why join Blue Apple Education?
Blue Apple Education works exclusively with schools and education groups, helping them with branding, marketing, websites, photography, film, print and wider creative services. We are a specialist business with a strong reputation, an ambitious vision and a genuine passion for helping schools communicate what makes them remarkable.
This is an opportunity to join a growing business where your contribution will matter, your success will be rewarded, and your role can develop over time.

This position is predominantly home-based, with occasional travel for team meetings, training, client meetings and company events as required.
Package
