The Role

You’ll inherit a small group of engineering and manufacturing accounts and develop them, while also bringing in new customers.

  • Sell engineering / manufacturing solutions
  • Build relationships with engineers, production managers and buyers
  • Grow existing accounts and expand spend
  • Win new manufacturing customers
  • Develop a territory worth £1m+ over time

Split roughly 70% new business / 30% account growth.


What They’re Looking For

  • B2B sales experience (engineering / manufacturing helpful)
  • Comfortable talking to technical people and engineers
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Someone who enjoys winning new accounts
  • Self-starter who likes autonomy in an SME


This Role Is Not For Everyone

You probably won’t enjoy this role if you prefer:

  • Sitting in an office waiting for enquiries
  • Selling low value / high volume products
  • Being heavily managed


You’ll enjoy it if you like:

  • Building long-term relationships with manufacturing customers
  • Winning new accounts and growing revenue
  • Working in a straightforward SME environment.


The Opportunity
