Due to our continued success, we are expanding and looking for a Senior Key Account Manager
to join our team.
Position Overview
To be a part of the hugely successful UK sales team. Strengthening the business and achieving the desired sales revenue and profit targets, market positioning, distribution, and visibility defined retailers.
Full account management of the Nirvana brands portfolio across defined key accounts in UK, EU & ROW in close conjunction with internal counterparts to deliver specified sales targets. This role is top-to-bottom account management requiring both strategic thinking and planning plus significant administration.
INTERNAL PEERS: Sales Managers, Marketing Teams, Brand Managers, Demand Planners, Commercial Finance.
EXTERNAL PEERS: Buyers, Supply Managers, retailer counterparts, agency counterparts.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work within Commercial team to deliver retailer strategies and deliver agreed sales and profit targets across the Nirvana brands portfolio.
YOU WILL:
- Be the primary point of contact between Nirvana Brands and retailers.
- Work on and execute a clear methodology for retailer growth.
- Effectively negotiate and manage the strategic activation calendar to grow sales performance. Align plans with retailer strategies and negotiate annual business plans to ensure profitable growth and optimum buy in whilst respecting brand values.
- Align with trade marketing to ensure trade spend is used effectively, ensuring to drive brand awareness whilst maximising profitability.
- Provide clear reports on activity and sales performance. Analyse results vs targets to grow sales performance, sharing qualitative and quantitative results. Review sell out performance and take appropriate action as required.
- Update and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts indicating risks and opportunities.
- Liaise with Supply Chain, providing clear and accurate forecasts. Oversee the supply chain within the account through forecasting and delivery.
- With Trade Marketing, track the trade marketing calendar, ensuring activity is happening as planned.
- Implement strategic promotions and marketing packages in line with brand strategy.
- Track investment, analyse ROI and uplift vs targets.
- Optimise brand presence and consumer impact on retailer websites, ensuring all imagery and additional assets are updated.
- Full administration of accounts (briefing New Line Forms, Promotional Forms, Price Lists, invoices, new retailer set up etc.)
- Participation in key business meetings such as forecast validation, brand updates, presenting a review of account performance identifying challenges and opportunities as appropriate.
- Develop strong networks and partnerships across all relevant departments with all accounts.
- Ensure consistent excellent service to retailers delivering a best-in-class approach.
- Update on market and competitor activity within all accounts.
- Other ad hoc activities to drive sales.

YOU HAVE:
- 6-10 years’ experience within a multi-branded sales environment, experience within the fragrance category preferred, but not essential
- Analytical and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
- Highly operational and numerate, commercially minded.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong negotiation experience.
- Team player.
- A confident and accountable self-starter who can work autonomously.
- Proven success in managing several projects to tight deadlines.
