Role Overview

This is a self employed (or employed) remote role for a Consultant Psychiatrist.

The Psychiatrist will be responsible for assessing patients' with mental health conditions, creating personalised treatment plans, and providing recommendations for cannabis-based prescriptions.

The role involves remote consultations with patients and collaborating with the clinic's healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Patient consultations, individualised treatment planning, prescribing CBPMs, continual assessment of patient progress, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care.

Experience & Qualifications

• Expertise in psychiatry management and consulting and a strong understanding of cannabis-based prescription medicines (CBPMs)
• Proficient in conducting patient consultations, evaluating medical histories, and developing effective treatment plans
• Strong ability in record-keeping, compliance with regulatory frameworks, and adherence to clinical guidelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support patient education and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with virtual healthcare platforms and telemedicine practices
• Board certification and relevant healthcare qualifications in psychiatry, or related specialties
• GMC Specialist Doctor
• Experience working in a regulated healthcare environment is a plus
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care delivery
