Electronics Engineer

Our client is seeking a motivated Electronics Engineer to join their R&D team in North Yorkshire. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to new product development, innovation, and continuous improvement of existing products.

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate in Electronics Engineering with 2+ years of industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to R&D activities including new product development
• Support small projects and elements of larger engineering projects
• Produce technical specifications and design documentation
• Provide electrical design input across projects
• Support production, logistics, and integration teams with technical expertise
• Assist Sales and Marketing with technical input for proposals
• Provide off-site engineering support when required
• Assist with manuals, customer support, and training
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations

Engineering Experience

Experience in several of the following areas:

• Electric motors and power distribution systems
• Variable speed drives and soft starters
• Industrial sensors and communication systems
• Analogue and digital circuit design
• PCB design, prototyping, and manufacturing standards

Skills & Requirements

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Safety conscious with knowledge of QHSE / ISO 9001 practices
• Experience with AutoCAD or DraftSight and Altium
• Good technical documentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
