Power Electronics Engineer – Automotive Inverters

We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to join our growing engineering team, working on the design and development of advanced automotive power electronics systems, including traction inverters and high-voltage power conversion technologies.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge electrification projects within the rapidly evolving automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop automotive power electronics systems, including traction inverters and high-power DC-DC converters
- Create and maintain schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer
- Perform circuit simulation, analysis, and component selection for high-voltage and high-current applications
- Support prototype development, testing, and validation of power electronics hardware
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software, mechanical, and systems engineers
- Ensure designs meet automotive standards, reliability, and safety requirements
- Assist with debugging, performance optimization, and product improvement activities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience designing power electronics hardware
- Proficiency using Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout
- Strong understanding of power conversion topologies, switching devices, and control methods
- Experience with high-voltage or automotive electronics systems
- Knowledge of testing and validation techniques for power electronics
- Experience with automotive traction inverters or motor drive systems
- Familiarity with SiC / GaN power devices
- Experience with thermal design, EMC/EMI mitigation, and reliability analysis
- Understanding of automotive development processes and standards
