Pre-sales Engineer (UK)

Quicktron Robotics is looking for a Pre-sales Engineer (UK)

Job description

About Quicktron Robotics

Quicktron Robotics is a leading provider of autonomous mobile robot (AMR) solutions for intelligent warehousing and intralogistics. With headquarters in Shanghai and a fast-growing presence in Europe (HQ in Frankfurt), we are helping companies transform their material handling through advanced automation. As a startup in Europe with the backing of a global leader, we offer a dynamic, fast-paced environment where innovation and collaboration are at the core of everything we do.

Job Overview

We are looking for a mid to senior-level Sales Engineer based in the UK to drive technical pre-sales efforts and customer engagement across the region. In this role, you will be the face of Quicktron for prospective clients, managing front-line technical discussions, qualifying customer needs, and working closely with our solution experts in the EU and Shanghai to deliver world-class AMR-based solutions.

This is a remote position, but you should be comfortable traveling to client sites (~50%) and representing Quicktron in front of strategic accounts.

Key Responsibilities

- Pre-Sales Engagement: Lead technical discussions with potential clients to understand operational challenges and introduce Quicktron’s AMR offerings.

- Client Qualification: Assess customer environments and needs to determine solution feasibility and business fit.

- Coordination with Solution Team: Work closely with our EU and Shanghai solution engineering teams to translate customer requirements into tailored AMR solutions.

- Proposal Development: Support the creation of technical proposals and responses to RFQs and RFPs.

- Relationship Management: Build long-term customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or related fields.

- Experience:

- 3–7 years in pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting in robotics or AMR-related solutions.

- Strong familiarity with warehouse automation and intralogistics processes.

- Technical Competence:

- Solid understanding of AMR systems and warehouse automation workflows.

- Proficiency with tools such as CAD; knowledge of basic programming (e.g., Python) is a plus.

- Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to interpret and use operational data.

- Independent, self-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Languages:

- Fluent in English.

- Mandarin Chinese is a significant advantage due to collaboration with our Shanghai HQ.

What We Offer

- Competitive base salary with performance-based bonuses.

- Remote work flexibility with international exposure.

- Exciting career development opportunities in a fast-scaling robotics company.

- A collaborative, innovative team environment with cutting-edge technology.

- Travel opportunities across Europe.
