Their in-house trading platform is a genuine differentiator, now being commercially licensed to top macro hedge funds globally. It covers trade ideation, optimisation, and execution, and gives their sales team a genuine edge in client conversations.

Since launching, they've scaled to a team of 11-12 experienced sales professionals across London and Dubai, and continues to grow aggressively. The culture is entrepreneurial, performance-driven and client-focused.

Role Overview

As a Senior Hedge Fund Rates Sales professional, you will play a key role in the firm's continued expansion, focusing on cultivating relationships with hedge fund portfolio managers and providing actionable trade ideas. Your role will cover OTC interest rate derivatives, swaps, and listed futures, leveraging a proprietary platform to enhance client engagement and optimise trade outcomes.

In addition to driving revenue, you will also provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering their development and contributing to a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with portfolio managers at interest rate and macro-focused hedge funds, leveraging existing connections and developing new client opportunities
• Generate and present data-backed trade ideas using the firm's proprietary platform
• Drive revenue growth through tailored, client-focused solutions
• Train and mentor junior associates, supporting their professional growth
• Collaborate with execution traders, technology teams, and senior leadership to align client strategies with business objectives
• Stay informed on global rates markets and regulatory environments to provide informed recommendations

Requirements

• Brokerage background in interest rate derivatives, with a focus on swaps and futures (options a bonus but not required)
• A portable book of clients you can trade with from the start
• Strong hedge fund and macro relationships
• Hungry, entrepreneurial profile comfortable with a fast-paced environment
