Renewable Energy Sales Consultant
£40,000 base + Commission
Hybrid working in Victoria, London

A fast-growing, mission-driven company at the forefront of the UK’s clean energy transition is seeking a Renewable Energy Sales Consultant to join its expanding team. The organisation delivers end-to-end renewable energy solutions—from consultation and system design through to installation, optimisation, and long-term support—helping homeowners and businesses achieve energy independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and convert new sales opportunities through warm inbound leads and referrals
- Consult with clients to understand their energy usage, goals, and financial considerations
- Design and present tailored renewable energy solutions to meet customer needs
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and ROI/payback assessments
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract close
- Collaborate with technical, installation, and operations teams to ensure accurate system design and delivery
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
- Stay up to date with renewable technologies, incentives, regulations, and market trends
- Represent the company professionally at client meetings, site visits, and industry events
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in consultative sales (B2C preferred, B2B considered)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently
- Target-driven mindset with a focus on ethical, value-based selling
- Skilled in handling objections and negotiating contracts
- Comfortable using CRM systems and digital sales tools
Desirable Experience
- Background in renewable energy, energy services, or sustainability
- Experience selling solar, battery storage, heat pumps, EV charging, or similar technologies
- Understanding of energy tariffs, incentives, and ideally Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS)
- Technical knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
