Senior EC&I Designer

Renfrew or Teesside | Full Time

We are supporting a leading engineering services organisation in the search for a Senior Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Designer to join their project delivery team within the process and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce EC&I design deliverables across FEED and detailed engineering phases
• Generate cable routing layouts, block diagrams and single line diagrams using AutoCAD
• Perform cable calculations using Trimble (Amtech) and lighting calculations using Dialux
• Participate in design reviews, technical queries and change control processes
• Conduct site surveys and support documentation for work packs and design packages
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated plant design

Requirements

• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years’ EC&I design experience within process, industrial or energy environments
• Experience with AutoCAD, Trimble (Amtech), Dialux, and ideally E3D
• Strong understanding of British and international engineering standards
