MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Delta NEU design and sell solutions for dust control, waste extraction and industrial ventilation across a range of industries in particular, corrugated board, carton, can and food.

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our established engineering team based at our offices in Stockport

The Role:

Provide accurate manufacturing and installation drawings to confirm system layouts.

Undertake site surveys and planning in order to confirm system layouts.

Produce General Arrangement drawings and parts lists (BOM’s) with all necessary

information for installation and procurement.

Design engineering and detailed manufacturing drawing for fabricated items.

Ensure all company and other design and drawing standards are followed.

Maintain Drawing Office Standards in an accurate and structured manner.

QA    

Internal filing and records

Inspections of fabricated items

Obtain quotations from suppliers and purchase equipment and services within project budget.

The Requirements:

·        A strong customer focus

·        Excellent level of communication skills

·        Experience of working on customer sites

·        A recognised engineering qualification ideally to HNC level

·        A thorough working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D

·        3D Inventor desirable

·        You may be required to undertake occasional overseas travel, including technical training at

Group HQ in Lille, France
