Senior MEP Commercial Manager

People Group is looking for a Senior MEP Commercial Manager

Job description

Senior MEP Commercial Manager

Oxford (Regional Travel)

Salary: £120,000 + Bonus + Healthcare + Pension + Travel

A well-established MEP contractor is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Commercial Manager to take on a key regional leadership role with significant commercial responsibility.

This is a high-impact position overseeing commercial performance across a large regional portfolio, with responsibility for managing and driving results against a £110m regional target. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on commercial leadership across multiple sectors and projects.

While the position is Oxford-based, the office functions primarily as a hub rather than a traditional desk-based environment. The role involves extensive regional travel, working closely with project teams, clients, and senior stakeholders across the business.

The Role

The successful candidate will lead commercial performance across the region, ensuring financial control, profitability, and delivery against major revenue targets. You will provide strategic commercial direction while supporting project teams in driving successful outcomes across multiple sectors.

This role requires someone comfortable operating within a senior leadership structure, managing complex reporting lines and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.

The Candidate

You will be a commercially astute leader with strong financial awareness and the confidence to manage large-scale commercial performance. The role requires a strong personality, resilience, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy across a regional remit.

You should enjoy working across the business, building relationships, and supporting teams while maintaining a strong focus on commercial delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Strong commercial leadership experience within MEP / building services
  • Proven ability to manage large regional portfolios and revenue targets
  • Excellent financial literacy and performance management skills
  • Comfortable operating across multiple sectors and project environments
  • Strong presence, credibility, and leadership ability
  • Willingness to work in a mobile, travel-focused role
  • Ability to work effectively within complex reporting structures

Salary & Package

  • Salary: £120,000
  • Performance-related bonus
  • Private healthcare
  • Pension
  • Travel expenses
  • 25 days Annual leave

This opportunity would suit a senior commercial professional who enjoys being out in the business, leading teams, building strong relationships, and balancing strategic oversight with hands-on commercial delivery across a major regional operation.
