Job description

Azure Sales Specialist – AI Platform

London

A production AI platform helping enterprises move AI from experimentation to governed production. We provide clarity, governance, and acceleration via a platform deployed inside customer environments with production workloads from day one. We serve regulated industries like life sciences and financial services, following an Assess-Deploy-Operate engagement model.

Senior technical sales role driving Azure-based AI platform adoption. You’ll act as the Azure/AI subject-matter expert in an overlay capacity, partnering with account teams to win complex platform deals through discovery, technical validation, and commercial close.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Azure Sales Leadership: Serve as the Azure architecture SME, positioning our platform within Azure-centric environments.
  • Deal Support: Partner with account executives to qualify and accelerate deals, leading technical discovery with senior leaders (CIO, CTO, Architects).
  • Solution Alignment: Map customer initiatives to our platform, demonstrate Azure integration, and support proof-of-value engagements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, delivery, and partner teams to translate requirements into delivery plans.
  • Ecosystem Engagement: Align deployments with Azure enterprise strategies and engage Microsoft partners.

Experience:

  • 5–10+ years in enterprise technology/cloud sales, with a proven track record in complex deals and overlay roles.
  • Strong familiarity with Azure AI services, data platforms, cloud architecture, security, and compliance. Ability to discuss enterprise AI deployment with senior technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to influence and support sales cycles without direct ownership of accounts or quotas.
  • Skilled at building trusted relationships with core account teams to be invited into strategic opportunities.
  • Experience managing multiple enterprise opportunities simultaneously across different territories.
  • Adept at quickly ramping on new accounts and providing targeted technical expertise.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to navigate internal matrix organisations and hand off seamlessly to delivery teams.
