Ingenio is partnering with a fast-growing boutique investment bank to hire a Senior Origination Manager focused on originating and winning M&A mandates with founder-led businesses.

This is a rare opportunity for high-performing enterprise sales professionals to transition into a commercial, strategic role within the M&A ecosystem, working directly with founders as they consider the sale of the companies they’ve built.

The Role

This is not a high-volume sales job. The role is centred on thoughtful origination, deep sector understanding, and building trusted relationships with business owners.

You will spend your time developing market insight, engaging senior decision-makers, and leading conversations that ultimately result in advisory mandates and successful transactions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing sector insight and identifying high-quality M&A opportunities

• Building trusted relationships with founders, CEOs and shareholders

• Leading discovery conversations with business owners exploring strategic options

• Origination of new advisory mandates through targeted outbound engagement

• Supporting preparation of client pitch materials and strategic discussions

• Working closely with senior advisors through the deal lifecycle

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of proven new business sales experience, selling enterprise software or services to senior B2B decision-makers

• Experience managing long, complex deal cycles with multiple stakeholders

• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC

• Strong commercial judgement, executive presence, and credibility with founders

• Curiosity about industries, business models, and how companies scale
