Thermotool Engineering Ltd specializes in providing high-quality tooling for the thermoforming industry. We are based in Bridgwater, just off of the M5. We are a family business looking for the right person to join our team as a Thermoforming Tool Designer.

Role Description

Thermotool Engineering Ltd work a 4 day week as standard (6.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday). We are looking for a full time designer but this could be negotiable for the right candidate. We are looking for an experienced tool designer who will be able to use Solidworks software to design thermoforming tooling. The role requires attention to detail and an ability to develop effective tooling systems that align with client specifications and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in designing thermoforming tooling using Solidworks software
• Experience in mould design and understanding of mould functionalities
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in the thermoforming industry is a plus
