Adventure Operations Specialist | Hybrid | Glasgow | £26,500

Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with a leading global travel company who are recruiting an Adventure Operations Specialist to join their Operations team.

The Role:

As Adventure Operations Specialist, you will coordinate and confirm all aspects of customers' trips once their itinerary has been booked, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure every journey runs smoothly. You will specialise in key destinations, manage bookings from provisional to confirmed stage, resolve operational challenges, maintain strong supplier relationships, and balance commercial targets with delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You Will Have:

• Passion for travel and a strong interest in adventure or active travel

• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues

• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to adapt to changing situations

• Team-oriented approach with a willingness to support wider operational tasks when needed
