Lutine Bell is supporting a leading London-based pension provider to appoint an experienced Senior Legal Counsel.
Title: Senior Legal Counsel
Location: London
Hybrid - Flexible
Salary: £115,000
Bonus - 50%-60% + Benefits
This is a highly autonomous position for a proactive UK-qualified lawyer with strong pensions expertise. You will play a key role in ensuring the business meets all UK pensions law and regulatory requirements, working closely with the Risk and Compliance teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with UK pensions legislation and regulatory standards.
- Developing and maintaining policies to support the implementation of pensions law and regulation.
- Advising on complex customer cases, including death benefits, escalated complaints, and FOS/POS processes.
- Managing pensions and consumer-related litigation matters.
Required Knowledge & Experience
- UK DC Pensions
- Inheritance Law, Guardianship and Family Law aspects of UK Pensions
- Business to Consumer Financial Services working with the FCA.
- General Commercial Law
