Owen Daniels are supporting an established and highly respected aerospace manufacturer is seeking an experienced Senior Production Planner to join their growing team in Alcester. This is a pivotal role within a regulated, high-precision environment, offering the opportunity to shape and drive operational excellence across the business.

Working at the heart of the organisation, you will lead the SIOP process end-to-end, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and production while supporting strategic decision-making. This role is ideally suited to a candidate from a regulated industry background such as aerospace, automotive, or advanced manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Own and lead the SIOP process, driving cross-functional collaboration across sales, operations, procurement, and finance
  • Develop and maintain robust demand forecasting and supply planning models
  • Balance inventory levels, service levels, and operational efficiency
  • Analyse data to identify risks, opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Facilitate SIOP meetings and present insights to senior stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards


About You:


  • Proven experience in a SIOP / S&OP role within a regulated manufacturing environment (aerospace, automotive, or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working within ERP/MRP systems
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness
