Job description

As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance across Asian Media Group’s portfolio, including print newspapers, B2B magazines, digital platforms, and high-profile UK events and awards.

This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who can combine strong relationship management with proactive business development. You will be responsible for managing key accounts, generating new business, and contributing to revenue growth while supporting the wider sales strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with advertisers, media agencies, sponsors, and partners

• Consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs

• Contribute to a high-performance, target-driven sales environment

• Execute sales strategies across:

  1. Print newspapers
  2. B2B magazines
  3. Digital and content-led platforms
  4. Events, awards, sponsorships, and partnerships

• Identify new revenue opportunities across sectors and markets

• Develop and pitch tailored commercial solutions and bundled packages to clients

• Support revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling across platforms

• Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction

• Assist in negotiations and closing of deals, including high-value opportunities where required

• Represent Asian Media Group professionally in the market

• Collaborate closely with marketing, editorial, and content teams to deliver effective commercial campaigns

• Ensure alignment between client expectations, campaign delivery, and audience insights

• Support the launch and promotion of new publications, events, and initiatives

• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and CRM records

• Track performance against targets and provide regular updates to management

• Use data and insights to inform sales approach and improve performance

• Stay informed on UK media, advertising, and events industry trends

• Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities for growth

 

  • Salary - £45-50,000.
