Business Development Manager

AC Training is looking for a Business Development Manager

Job description

  • Location – remote
  • Salary – From £35,000 depending on experience, plus commission.
  • Hours – Full‑time, Monday to Friday

Due to continued expansion, AC Training is looking to recruit an experienced and commercially minded Business Development Manager to support the strategic growth of our apprenticeship and commercial training provision. This role is central to helping us expand our footprint across the NHS, private healthcare, sports organisations, and education sectors, ensuring that our programmes reach employers who value high‑quality, ethical training solutions.

We are seeking a proactive individual with experience in employer engagement, apprenticeship levy conversations, and relationship‑building across multiple sectors. You will play a key role in increasing our market presence, cross‑selling to existing partners, and identifying new opportunities that align with our organisational strategy.

What is important is that you bring an innovative mindset, strong commercial awareness, and a passion for supporting organisations to develop their workforce. Even more than that, because we have such a great team here, it’s vital that you share our company values — Integrity, Respect, Accountability, and Customer Centricity.

This is a fully remote role, with national travel when required, offering a high level of autonomy and flexibility.

Why AC Training?

You will be joining a well‑established, values‑driven training provider with strong employer partnerships across England and a reputation for quality.

As part of our team, you’ll benefit from:

  • A supportive, highly motivated team who are ambitious and collaborative
  • Centre status for ILM, OCR and NOCN
  • Flexible / remote working
  • Excellent work–life balance supported by senior leadership
  • 26 days annual leave, plus 12 additional days, bank holidays, and holiday purchasing scheme
  • Birthday and Christmas Eve off
  • Company pension scheme
  • Laptop and phone provided
  • Staff events including an annual summer conference and quarterly away days
  • Investment in your personal development and CPD

This role is ideal for someone confident in B2B consultative sales, who is excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of our commercial strategy.

If you like what you’re hearing, or even if you’re unsure, go ahead and send us your CV along with a short message explaining what you can bring to this role and what you would need from us in return.
