A well-established and growing engineering business is seeking an experienced Aftermarket Sales Manager to lead the growth of its service and calibration division. This is a senior, commercially focused role with full responsibility for expanding service revenue, improving margins, and developing long-term customer partnerships across industrial and manufacturing sectors.


⭐The Role

You will take ownership of the aftermarket function, driving both revenue growth and profitability across service contracts and calibration services.

  • Delivering growth of the aftermarket business (targeting £2M → £2.5M revenue)
  • Managing and expanding Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contracts
  • Leading contract renewals, renegotiations, and service upgrades
  • Identifying opportunities to improve gross margin across service offerings
  • Developing and winning new business within manufacturing and engineering sectors
  • Selling calibration and compliance-based services to support production quality and regulatory requirements
  • Acting as the senior commercial contact for key customers
  • Building relationships with engineering, operations, quality, and procurement stakeholders


✅About You

We are looking for a commercially driven individual with a strong background in engineering services or technical sales.

  • Proven experience in aftermarket sales, service contracts, or maintenance agreements
  • A strong track record of growing revenue and improving margins
  • Experience negotiating long-term service agreements
  • Ability to sell into engineering, manufacturing, and operations environments
  • Strong relationship-building and account management skills


✅Highly desirable:

  • Experience selling calibration services or compliance-driven solutions
  • Understanding of accredited calibration (e.g. UKAS or similar frameworks)
