The Design Showroom Ltd are seeking a polished and experienced to lead our showroom with confidence, creativity, and refined sales leadership. The Opportunity


As The Design Showroom Sales Manager, you will be the steward of our showroom experience. You will guide a talented sales team, cultivate meaningful relationships with interior designers, architects, and discerning clients, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and elevated design.


You will balance strategic sales leadership with hands-on client engagement, overseeing bespoke and high-value projects from initial consultation through final delivery.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a design-focused showroom sales team
  • Social media marketing and SEO experience a must
  • Curate an exceptional, personalized client experience aligned with luxury retail standards
  • Drive revenue growth through consultative, relationship-based selling
  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships with interior designers, architects, and trade professionals
  • Oversee custom, made-to-order, and specification-driven sales with precision and care
  • Manage showroom operations, scheduling, and performance metrics
  • Partner with marketing on exclusive events, designer outreach, and visual storytelling
  • Maintain impeccable showroom presentation and visual merchandising standards
  • Resolve client concerns with discretion, professionalism, and thoughtful solutions


Qualifications


  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience in luxury retail, interior design showrooms, or high-end home products
  • Proven success selling premium or custom products
  • Strong design sensibility and understanding of materials, finishes, and aesthetics
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with designers, trade partners, or luxury clientele
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, POS platforms, and sales analytics


Preferred Background


  • Interior design, architecture, or related education or experience
  • Experience in furniture, kitchen & bath, lighting, tile, or luxury home furnishings
  • Visual merchandising or showroom curation expertise
