Channel Lead // £65,000 + Car Allowance + 15% Bonus

My client is a well-established, fast-moving food business with a strong national presence and a real appetite for commercial growth. They back people who take ownership and reward those who deliver.
This isn't a reactive account management role - you'll be building and owning the channel plan from the ground up, leading a team of account managers, and operating at head office level with some of the biggest names in the market. The scope is significant, and so is the opportunity to progress.
What you'll do
- Own the channel plan end-to-end - strategy, execution, and performance.
- Build and manage senior relationships across national accounts at head office level, both directly and through your team.
- Drive new business whilst retaining and growing existing customers.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of account managers - this is a people leadership role as much as a commercial one.
What you'll need
- Senior FMCG commercial experience - you know how the market works and how deals get done.
- Hands-on experience managing a large national account at head office level - non-negotiable.
- Proven track record of leading and developing teams, directly and indirectly.
There is also genuine scope to progress to Director level for the right person - this business promotes from within and recognises those who deliver.
