Job Title: Commercial Manager

Salary: Competitive + Package (DOE)

We are working with a well-established refurbishment specialist contractor based in Southwark who are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their growing team.

This is a key leadership role within a £15m turnover business, reporting directly to the Managing Director and overseeing all commercial activities across a diverse portfolio of refurbishment projects for both public and private sector clients.

The Role

As Commercial Manager, you will take full responsibility for the financial and contractual performance of projects, while leading and mentoring a team of Quantity Surveyors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all commercial operations across projects with a combined turnover of circa £15m
• Lead, develop, and support a team of 3 Quantity Surveyors
• Ensure robust cost control, reporting, and financial forecasting
• Oversee procurement strategies and subcontractor management
• Manage risk, value engineering, and contract compliance
• Act as a key commercial advisor to the Managing Director
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Strong background in refurbishment or fit-out projects
• Experience managing and mentoring commercial teams
• Excellent knowledge of contracts and commercial processes
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach
