Job description
Domestic Area Sales Manager – Scotland, Cumbria and Northern Ireland
High Performing Region | £6m Revenue | Loyal Customers | Market Leading Brand
Are you a relationship led sales professional who wants to take ownership of one of the most valuable and well established territories in the UK
Our client, a global leader in building solutions with a heritage dating back to 1935, is seeking a Domestic Area Sales Manager to lead a region that has been nurtured, developed and consistently grown over the last 30 years.
With 38 factories worldwide, more than 6,000 employees and a reputation for quality and innovation, this is a business that continues to invest, expand and dominate its market.
A Truly Exceptional Territory
This is not a typical sales patch. You will inherit a high turnover £6m region that has been carefully built over three decades by a long serving and respected salesperson.
This area benefits from:
• Exceptionally strong brand loyalty
• Installer relationships delivering over £1m annually
• Showrooms and partners who have worked with the business for decades
• A reputation that consistently opens doors and secures repeat business
In short, you are stepping into a territory with outstanding foundations, deep trust and huge further potential. There is still significant opportunity to grow revenue, re engage lapsed accounts and unlock untapped partners across Scotland, Cumbria and Northern Ireland.
What You Will Be Doing
• Manage and grow a well established £6m region
• Strengthen long standing relationships with showrooms and installers
• Re engage loyal but inactive customers and revive dormant accounts
• Identify new business opportunities and convert fresh prospects
• Use a structured, proactive approach to territory planning
• Represent the brand professionally at meetings, site visits and events
Who We Are Looking For
• A self motivated, commercially focused salesperson with strong drive
• Experience in building products or closely aligned sectors
• Personable and relationship driven, able to build long term trust
• Organised and consistent in managing both active and lapsed accounts
• A confident communicator with solid planning and IT skills
• Someone excited by the chance to take over a high value, well built region and push it even further
What’s On Offer
• A market leading salary
• Company car, including EV options with home and office charging
• Highly achievable bonus
• The chance to take ownership of a region most salespeople rarely get access to
• A business known for developing and retaining its best people
