£55,000 – £75,000 + 10% Car Allowance

We are working with a leading international technical engineering and construction partner operating across the UK, Ireland and Mainland Europe. This Tier 1 main contractor specialises in delivering complex design and build projects for end user clients within the Food, Pharmaceutical, Logistics, Data Centre and Advanced Manufacturing sectors .

Due to continued growth within their Pre-Construction team, they are now seeking a Bid Writer to join their Kent office

The Role

• The Bid Writer will support the tendering and business development process by writing proposals, tenders and marketing material for upcoming and live tender applications.
• Along with supporting the marketing function with writing material
• You will work closely with estimators, planners, project managers, designers and commercial teams to coordinate all aspects of the bid process. This is a highly organised and detail-driven role within a fast-paced pre-construction environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bid writing role, ideally within construction or the built environment
• Strong organisational and creative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with InDesign or similar tools is advantageous
• Knowledge of construction terminology and tendering processes
