Drive High‑Value Automation Projects for a Leading European Intralogistics Group

Our client is a fast‑growing, well‑established European provider of advanced intralogistics and automated material handling solutions. Their portfolio spans high‑performance systems including robotics, conveyors, AS/RS, automated fulfilment, and end‑to‑end material flow technologies. With strong investment and a rapidly expanding customer base, they are now seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead major system sales across the UK and wider European region.

This is a senior, strategic role for a proven sales professional who understands complex automation projects, long‑cycle solution selling, and the dynamics of high‑value intralogistics investments.

The Role

As Senior Sales Manager, you will:

  • Lead the acquisition and development of major automation projects across the UK and Europe.
  • Build and manage relationships with end‑users, integrators, consultants, and strategic partners.
  • Drive complex solution‑selling processes for systems typically valued £5m–£20m+.
  • Work closely with solution design, engineering, and project teams to shape compelling, technically robust proposals.
  • Develop account strategies, market insights, and long‑term growth plans.
  • Represent the business at industry events, trade fairs, and customer sites across the region.
  • Act as a senior commercial voice within the organisation, influencing product direction and market positioning.

About You

You will excel in this role if you bring:

  • A strong track record in selling large‑scale intralogistics, automation, robotics, or material handling systems.
  • Proven experience closing deals over £5m with complex stakeholder groups.
  • Deep understanding of automated systems, warehouse operations, and ROI‑driven solution selling.
  • A consultative, strategic approach to long‑cycle sales.
  • Confidence engaging at senior levels, from operations directors to C‑suite.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a home‑based role with regular UK and European travel.
  • Strong communication, commercial acumen, and technical credibility.

What’s on Offer

  • Join a high‑growth European automation group with strong investment and a compelling product portfolio.
  • Senior‑level autonomy and influence over major strategic accounts.
  • Competitive salary, strong bonus structure, and full support package.
  • Long‑term career development in a business scaling rapidly across Europe.
