Pay: £82.50 £100 per day
A warm and inclusive primary school in High Wycombe (HP12) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. The school is committed to child-centred learning, inclusive practice, and creating a supportive environment for pupils and staff.
About the Role
- Provide individualised support to pupils with a variety of SEND, including ASD, SEMH, and MLD
- Assist with delivering differentiated learning activities under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO
- Help maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support the implementation and review of EHCPs alongside staff and external specialists
- Use strategies that promote communication, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour
- Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
Ideal Candidate
- Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable but not essential
- Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willing to support personal care and sensory needs when required
- Committed to safeguarding and professional development
