Job description

CNC Recruitment are looking for an experienced and confident telemarketer to generate high-quality enquiries and build relationships with architects working on premium construction projects.

Location: Lopen, near South Petherton, Somerset

Type: Full-Time/Permanent
Hours: Full-time preferred, part-time considered (minimum 3 days per week)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone commercially aware, professional on the phone, and comfortable engaging with architects and decision-makers in the high-end residential market. The focus is on meaningful conversations that lead to genuine opportunitiesnot high-volume calling.

The Role
You will be responsible for developing a strong prospect base by contacting architectural practices, introducing our products, and generating interest in our services. The ultimate goal is to secure face-to-face meetings and create qualified project enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact architects and architectural practices to introduce the business
• Identify and reach the appropriate decision-makers
• Build rapport and establish professional relationships
• Generate and qualify new leads
• Accurately record and manage activity
• Support the wider team by maintaining a consistent pipeline of opportunities

What Were Looking For

Essential:

• Proven experience in telemarketing, telesales, or outbound sales
• Confidence speaking with professionals and decision-makers
• Ability to navigate organisations and handle gatekeepers
• Professional, credible, and engaging telephone manner
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Excellent organisation and self-management

Desirable:

• Experience within construction, architecture, or a related sector
• Interest in high-quality materials or design-led projects

This is not an entry-level role. Our client is looking for someone who can take ownership, work independently, and deliver results.

Working Arrangements

• Remote or home-based working available
• Initial training ideally conducted in South Petherton (flexibility for partial remote)
• Ongoing office attendance required periodically (e.g. Twice per month)
• Full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week)
