Are you passionate about supporting young children to learn, explore and grow?

This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your career in early years education with Little Feet Nursery, a warm, welcoming and forward-thinking nursery based in the heart of Dronfield. At Little Feet, children are encouraged to develop their creativity, independence and curiosity through play, exploration and high-quality learning experiences.

Working alongside a team of experienced and highly qualified practitioners, you will gain hands-on experience while completing your Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship.

What Youll Be Doing

As an apprentice at Little Feet Nursery, you will:

  • Support childrens learning and development through play-based and planned activities.

  • Help create a caring, stimulating and inclusive environment where children feel safe and valued.

  • Assist with daily routines such as meal times, outdoor play and personal care (including nappy changing).

  • Support children to develop confidence, independence and curiosity.

  • Contribute to observations and planning to support each childs individual development.

  • Work as part of a passionate team dedicated to providing high-quality early years education.

Entry Requirements
  • GCSE Grade 4 / C or above in English and Maths essential.

  • Level 2 Early Years qualification desirable.

  • Commitment to completing the full apprenticeship programme.

Apprenticeship Details
  • Hours: 40 hours per week

  • Duration: Approximately 18 months

  • Salary: £8.50 per hour
