Teaching Assistant Specialist School
Location:Smallfield, Surrey
Salary: £13.51£14.45 per hour / £24,139£25,819 actual + £1,000 Welcome Bonus
40 hours per week | Term time only | 8:15am start

What Youll Be Doing

• Building trusting, caring relationships so pupils feel safe, understood and ready to learn
• Encouraging independence, confidence and personal development
• Supporting the Class Teacher with the smooth running of the classroom
• Adapting to the needs of the day and contributing to a positive, nurturing environment
• Promoting pupils cognitive, social, emotional and physical development
• Using physical intervention when required (full training provided)

What Youll Bring

• GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/Level 3 or equivalent)
• Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (desirable)
• Experience in a special school or SEN environment (highly desirable)
• Team Teach training (advantageous)
• A calm, resilient and child?centred approach
