£160k base plus Equity & Gaurenteed Commission

London (Hybrid)


We’re recruiting a Founding GTM Hire to join a venture-backed company at the intersection of AI and legal services. This is not a typical sales role.


This is an opportunity to take on a true founding commercial position within a firm that has already demonstrated early demand, secured backing from top-tier investors, and is now ready to transition from founder-led selling and initial hypothesis testing to a more repeatable go-to-market approach.


You will be the first dedicated commercial team member, working closely with the founders to shape how the business wins clients, expands, and scales.

What you’ll be doing


  • Building the go-to-market playbook from the ground up
  • Working closely with the founders to test, refine, and institutionalise the commercial motion
  • Owning a new business activity across sourcing, outreach, meetings, and closing
  • Leading a land-and-expand motion, growing revenue within existing accounts over time
  • Shaping messaging, positioning, and how the company is taken to market
  • Acting as a commercial owner for early customers and helping deepen strategic relationships
  • Laying the foundations for the future GTM team as the business scales


What we’re looking for


  • Genuine zero-to-one experience in an early-stage saas environment
  • Also seen what good looks like at scale
  • Built or helped shape GTM motions, not just executed against an existing playbook
  • Strong new business instincts, but also the ability to grow and expand customer relationships
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity without needing a large team or heavy structure around you
  • The presence and communication skills to work with sophisticated, high-value buyers
  • A desire to step into a role with real ownership and long-term upside


What is less likely to be a fit: This probably won’t be right for someone who has only worked in highly structured enterprise SaaS environments and is looking for a fully defined playbook, clean commission structure, and a large support team from day one.


Location: London preferred. The business values in-person collaboration for the commercial team, so there is a strong preference for candidates who can work closely with the founders.
