What you will do:

- Conduct thorough neurological assessments on patients within the acute stroke unit.

- Proactively participate in discharge planning and manage complex pathways to ensure patient safety and support.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide outstanding care for elderly and medical patients, including medical outliers on the unit.

- Utilise your expertise in Occupational Therapy to deliver targeted treatment plans aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Requirements:

- Valid HCPC Registration as an Occupational Therapist.

- Proven experience within the UK/NHS as a qualified Occupational Therapist, specifically working in an Acute NHS Hospital setting on an Acute Stroke unit or hyper acute stroke unit.

- Skilled in neurological assessment and experienced in discharge planning.

- Competence in caring for elderly and medical patients, vital for supporting medical outliers.
