Job description

We are recruiting a Part-Time Oncology Clinical Fellow (0.5 WTE) to join a leading private cancer centre in Central London.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work across oncology inpatient, chemotherapy and radiotherapy services within a modern, specialist environment.


Role Overview:

  • Provide clinical care across oncology wards, chemo and radiotherapy units
  • Support consultants with patient assessments, prescribing and treatment planning
  • Manage acute oncology presentations (e.g. Neutropenic sepsis, treatment toxicities)
  • Participate in MDTs, ward rounds and clinical governance activities


Contract & Hours:

  • Part-time (approx. 22 hours/week)
  • Flexible working: 2–3 days per week or job-share
  • Occasional Saturdays (approx. 1 in 8)
  • 1–2 year fixed-term

Requirements:

  • Full GMC registration with licence to practise
  • ALS or ILS
  • NHS experience (FY2+/CT level or above)
  • Experience in acute medicine / oncology settings preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and escalation skills
