Site Engineer

Job description

Our client, a prominent player in the energy sector, is currently looking for a Civil Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong civil engineering and site engineering skills, particularly with essential experience in setting out tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing site engineering duties and overseeing construction projects within the energy sector
• Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards
• Collaborating with site managers, architects, and design engineers
• Managing and monitoring subcontractors' performance and ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to
• Maintaining accurate site records and producing progress reports
• Resolving any technical issues that may arise during the construction process
• Ensuring all materials used and work performed align with specifications

Job Requirements:

• Solid experience in civil site engineering
• Proficiency in setting out, levelling, and surveying
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification
• Understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
