Project Quality Manager (Contract) ⚙

We’re supporting a leading global engineering organisation to hire an experienced Project Quality Manager for a long-term energy programme.

Key Details

• 12-month rolling contract (secured to end of 2028)
• 25 hours per week
• Outside IR35
• Remote + monthly travel ✈

Role Overview

Own project quality end-to-end, ensuring compliance across design, procurement, manufacture, and installation while working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Project Quality Plans, ITPs & MRB
• Capture and control customer quality requirements
• Oversee supplier quality, audits & inspections
• Ensure ATEX, PED & ISO 9001 compliance
• Manage NCRs, RCA & corrective actions
• Support audits & provide quality reporting

About You

• Experience on major projects (energy, oil & gas, or similar)
• Strong understanding of project-driven quality (not production)
• Confident with engineering drawings
• Strong stakeholder management

Desirable

• Engineering degree/HND
• Lead Auditor / ATEX / PED training
