What You’ll Do
As OSP Installation Manager, you’ll lead the end‑to‑end T&I scope for the topside, ensuring everything moves from planning to offshore installation safely, efficiently and in line with stringent technical standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing all T&I engineering and interface coordination, including oversight of both the T&I contractor and the OSP EPC contractor.
- Leading development of Employer’s Requirements and technical specifications for the topside T&I scope.
- Coordinating HAZIDs, HAZOPs and safety‑critical workshops, ensuring hazards are understood and mitigated.
- Directing load‑out, transport and installation activities, ensuring readiness, compliance and alignment with the overall offshore programme.
- Driving proactive risk and opportunity management, capturing key issues early and shaping mitigation strategies.
- Overseeing quality and safety performance of Tier 1 contractors, reinforcing strong behaviours and expectations.
- Acting as the main point of contact for the Marine Warranty Surveyor, ensuring all MWS requirements are fully met.
- Reviewing all T&I documentation, including technical deliverables, engineering proposals, pricing, strategies and schedules.
- Visiting contractor offices, fabrication yards and offshore sites as required throughout the project lifecycle.

What You’ll Bring
Essential
- A degree or equivalent experience in engineering, construction or a related technical field.
- Strong project management capability across complex technical scopes.
- Proven experience managing offshore load‑out, transport and installation operations for major components (e.g. WTG, OSP, heavy‑lift modules).
- Demonstrable experience of construction and/or vessel contract management.
- A strong health, safety and wellbeing ethos in challenging offshore environments.
- Solid understanding of relevant offshore wind construction regulations, including UK CDM.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in multi‑stakeholder environments.
- Organised, delivery‑focused and able to prioritise effectively in a fast‑moving project environment.
- Willingness to undertake regular travel, including onshore and offshore site visits.
Desirable
- Experience spanning the full lifecycle of offshore wind projects.
- Understanding of stage‑gate project delivery frameworks.
- Valid or previous GWO offshore certification (training can be refreshed if required).
