Compliance and Technical Manager

Rise Resourcing is looking for a Compliance and Technical Manager

Job description

I am currently looking to recruit a Compliance and Technical Manager with a strong understanding of compliance processes to join a leading electronics business based in West Yorkshire. This is a forward‑thinking, innovative organisation where work–life balance, employee wellbeing and long‑term development are genuinely prioritised.

About the Role

You’ll lead the technical and compliance function across a varied product range, ensuring all items meet the required safety, quality and regulatory standards. You’ll support new product development while maintaining the accuracy of specifications and documentation for existing lines.

You’ll manage product testing to agreed timelines, work with suppliers and internal teams to optimise performance and cost, and stay ahead of legislative changes across the UK, EU and international markets. You’ll also contribute technical insight through benchmarking and user trials to help shape high‑performing products. The role includes managing compliance budgets, maintaining clear audit trails, sharing regulatory updates, and representing the business in relevant technical or industry groups.

About You

You’ll have experience in a Technical, Quality or Compliance role, ideally within electronics or another technical environment. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills are essential, along with clear communication and the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams. You’ll be organised, commercially aware and confident managing budgets, planning ahead and taking ownership of technical challenges.

What You’ll Get in Return

You’ll receive a competitive salary (dependent on experience) along with a generous holiday allowance, contributory pension scheme, and a range of wellbeing and lifestyle benefits. These include life assurance, company‑funded healthcare, enhanced family‑friendly policies, colleague discounts, and access to ongoing learning and development programmes to support your long‑term growth.

What to Do Now

If you have the right Quality, Legislation or Compliance background and are looking for a role where you can genuinely advance your career, please get in touch and apply today.
