With a growing demand for quality assurance and performance-led delivery - particularly across the residential sector - this is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-impact, specialist MEP Guardian team shaping the buildings of tomorrow.

Based in London, this is a hands-on, site-focused role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring the quality, compliance, and performance of MEP installations.

Working closely with the sector lead, you’ll support the delivery and expansion of the MEP Guardian service-combining design review, on-site inspection, and performance optimisation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to delivery, understands site realities, and wants to influence outcomes in a meaningful way.

  • Monitor MEP installations on-site to ensure quality and compliance
  • Witness testing and support acceptance processes

  • Support compliance validation and performance verification

Technical Standards & Best Practice

  • Undertake internal design reviews to maintain technical standards

Team Support & Development

  • Mentor and support graduate and junior engineers
  • Contribute to the growth of the MEP Guardian service offering
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and projects

About You

  • Background in Building Services / MEP Engineering
  • Strong understanding of a broad range of MEP systems
  • Experience with on-site inspection, commissioning, or contractor coordination
  • Likely a Senior Engineer, or an Intermediate ready to step up
  • Could also suit an MEP Coordinator from a contractor background
  • Working towards or already Chartered Engineer status
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • Comfortable representing projects in client and site meetings
  • Passion for sustainable, high-performance buildings

Why Apply?

  • Work at the forefront of the UK’s heat decarbonisation strategy
  • Join a growing specialist team with strong project demand
  • Be part of a people-focused, employee-owned consultancy
  • Gain exposure to cutting-edge, technically challenging projects
