Full Stack Software Engineer - Start Up / Industrial Automation
We are partnered with a London-based manufacturer reinventing industrial production through their proprietary software. The team is hiring a Fullstack Software Engineer to architect and scale systems that control factory automation and real-time data processing for the aerospace and energy sectors.
This is a permanent onsite position in London, UK.
Key responsibilities for this Full Stack Software Engineer position:
- Architect and develop critical systems for factory automation and real-time monitoring.
- Take ownership of the full stack, including infrastructure, backend services, and UX.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and build software solutions that directly impact factory floor efficiency.
- Deploy and iterate software rapidly by engaging directly with physical manufacturing processes.
- Lead projects from conception to deployment, ensuring fault-tolerance in high-stakes environments.
Key requirements:
- 2–6 years of experience in Full Stack development.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Postgres.
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, and modern DevOps practices.
- A generalist mindset with a passion for real-world impact (UX/frontend experience is a plus).
- Ability to work 5 days a week onsite to collaborate with physical production teams.
