Our client is seeking a Product Support Installations Engineer for a fixed-term contract of 6 months. This role offers a competitive daily rate ranging from £200 to £250.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake on-site support visits for installations, de-installations, and relocations of critical instruments.
  • Deliver high-quality installations while adhering to customer policies and safety standards.
  • Engage with customers to address queries and ensure effective communication with the wider business.
  • Maintain calibrated tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with service activities.
  • Provide first-level troubleshooting support, using your technical skills to solve issues promptly.


What We’re Looking For:


Essential Qualifications:

  • A qualified engineer in electrical engineering, medical technology, or a relevant Biomedical Science degree.
  • Full UK/EU driving licence and a valid passport for overseas training.


Core Competencies:

  • Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical understanding.
  • Proven ability to manage personal time and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a flair for teamwork and collaboration.
  • A logical, process-driven mindset with an attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic about challenging technologies, including robotics and medical issues.


Desirable Skills (but not essential):

  • Initial experience in a medical technical environment.
  • Familiarity with medical analytical systems and quality assurance.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and web delivery applications.
  • Customer-facing engineering support experience.
