Packaging Technologist – Food Manufacturing – Coventry - £35,000 to £38,000

If you’ve ever looked at a pack on shelf and thought, “that could’ve been done better”… this might be for you.

This isn’t a role where you just tweak artwork and pass it along.

You’ll be right in the middle of it — fixing problems on site, getting new products over the line, and making sure packaging actually works in the real world… not just on a spec sheet.

You’ll be:

• Managing packaging development from concept through to launch
• Working closely with design agencies on artwork, reprographics and print quality
• Leading packaging trials and supporting product launches
• Troubleshooting issues on site with QA and Operations
• Managing packaging specs, compliance and ensuring everything is fit for purpose
• Driving cost-saving and improvement projects without cutting corners
• Building strong relationships with suppliers to stay ahead of trends

What they’re looking for

• Solid experience in NPD packaging within food manufacturing
• Someone who understands materials, films, and how packaging behaves in production
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with pretty much every department
• A problem-solver — not someone who escalates everything at the first hurdle
• Ideally degree-qualified with a packaging or food-related background
