Senior Project Manager – Nuclear

We’re now looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of major systems integration contracts within the nuclear sector; delivering complex, multi‑million‑pound projects that make a real impact.


What you’ll be doing

As a senior leader within our project delivery function, you will:

  • Take full responsibility for a portfolio of high‑value E,C&I projects from inception to completion
  • Ensure delivery to time, budget, specification and customer satisfaction
  • Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team of up to 30 project managers and engineers
  • Oversee financial performance, subcontractor management and commercial negotiations
  • Work closely with our production and hardware engineering teams
  • Manage all Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety aspects of your projects
  • Build strong client relationships and support future business growth


What we’re looking for

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • 5–10 years’ experience managing full lifecycle E,C&I projects in the nuclear or similarly regulated industries
  • Strong customer‑facing skills and experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts
  • Solid electrical hardware knowledge
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, on budget and to high quality standards
  • Experience managing subcontractors and leading technical teams
  • Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills
  • A full driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Eligibility for SC clearance


Desirable:

  • Project management qualifications (PMI, APMP etc)
  • Safety qualifications (IOSH Managing Safely)
  • Experience with CEMAR
  • Degree in electrical engineering
